what are elementals. i was told there were elementals in crystals. elementals are like nature spirits, caretakers. the way i'm drawn to dogs is the way i'm drawn to crystals. dogs must be elementals. partly elementals must be imbued with what we desire and wish to transmit. some love, some reciprocal truth, commingling, root cultural union. paracelsus regarded elementals as beings between creatures and spirits. it feels like there are ones who are liminal, neither one sex or the other, and they are the ones who are not fixed in proscribed pattern. i think of how folks can still become shamans in such a materialist culture. the elementals are why. the elemental nature isn't fixed the way the dominant parties proscribe. the elementals pass right through. the elementals play.

of course some people will scoff when you refer to elementals. some people scoff at dogs. i want to observe the behaviors and imagine what is elemental. i would aspire not to scoff at some people. i'd like to see the elemental in them.
