do you wish there was a god. if i were an orphan i'd wish for a parent. somehow you think despite the facts you're an orphan anyway. i turned to books at an early age. i made a blanket tent, nestled between the covers with a flashlight. for the duration i was what i read. it's sad it's rare i get that comfort now. anyway it was an orphan comfort. you can wish sorrow away but it won't go by wishing anymore than wind. i imagine god is wind that will lift you up and blow you away. kite boy with a string and a book for a tail. what did the people do before the beginning was the word. they made up word gods, gods made us the hunger for affirmation, for the words.
