the evil is unbelievable, so unthinkable, we don't believe it or think about it. we do but we can't. i watched tariq ali speaking about the american wars, so cruel and brutal. this is our country, a hostile power roaming the earth, stealing, killing, destroying. lulu does her own thing. i roll the head of the snowman downhill and she ignores it. at sunset i start watching carl dreyer's vampyr, 1932. yesterday i saw jeanne d'arc, 1928. the vampire theme began in 18th century poetry. think about the vampire movies and parasite. i looked up parasite and was surprised to read: the original meaning of parasite
is "a person who exploits the hospitality of the rich and earns welcome
by flattery." Our earliest evidence of that use is from 1539. Evidence
of the meaning referring to an organism that lives in, with, or on
another organism dates to 1728. the blood sucking, psyche and or body continues, and we need to identify the parasite when it arises before it's too late. it may be too late, it's got in our psyche, our blood, the zeitgeist. we know how earth feels, how it feels to be the host.
