i still want to believe someone could come along and redeem this country and occasionally i get hopeful, i feel hopefully naive. i don't really believe this country will change. it feels good to think it could though, and that if someone could actually represent the people and not lie to them to distract them while secretly keeping the corporate status quo, sowing cancerous oats, wreaking environmental chaos and fomenting war. but i don't believe bernie could win really, and if he did he would be turned into another stooge of corporate power and the people would say well he had a good agenda, it just wasn't real. i still feel deep down hopefully naive, just not about the redemption of america. but then again...maybe he can win and we can make turn toward the sun of sanity, away from hate and demockisy, toward decency, toward the mother, toward earth!
