horoscope says ask about other lives. check in with the dogs and ask how they feel, they tell me with their eyes. guess i scan people but they can be difficult to read sometimes. closed, preoccupied. they suffer the suffering world. i picked up the book the falling sky from home—a beautiful book but it's by a yanomami shaman and the world is so utterly different it's hard for someone in the consumer capitalist paradigm to understand. i wonder how the shaman would comprehend the capitalist world. i imagine it would look like hell. that's what drew me to read how he sees the world, because the built world looks like hell to me. imagine other lives. it's hard to understand people around here. i go back to the inland sea.
