i saw two crows fucking today. first i heard them making a sound like castanets or woodpeckers, or comet sometimes waiting at the downstairs door. they probably do it all the time but they do it so quick it's hard to see. the sound drew my eyes directly. then i saw their shadows fly up the side of a building reminding me of the expressionist shadows in the film vampyr. 
if crows are fucking it must be near spring.
