if you can find consolation, you will find consolation, the problem is we mostly seek to consume it, and then it's gone. it's like, if you love the pig, and then you eat the pig, then it's dead in you for a while and gone, and you are unconsoled. it's the same as drugs. you love the idea, but the reality is you can't get outside this world, you got to wake up in it. every american could benefit by some kind of therapy. we're all in the trauma, it doesn't matter how good your dad was, he was in it too. but it's better to be conscious than unconscious whether you get therapy by talk or dogs or drugs, until there's a paradigm shift we all live in the trauma of consumption and war, yet i sometimes, off and on, think there's a paradigm shift happening, and if it shifts it will shift even the unconscious, even the purveyors of disaster, they'll run out of time or gas or power. the paradigm is simply a narrative, and individually we know how we tell ourselves stories, til we get tired of our own narrative, and the propaganda we've been fed.
i was going to relate this to mr. pig, but it's just a feeling now, it came through the narrative, and now i just recall the feeling. it was therapeutic you might say. i think the pig came out ok, thanks to mr. pig.
