what's up with those kids? two kids are apoplectic in terror crying like they're under attack and i ask is it the dogs and the nanny says yes and she tries to tell them the dogs don't even notice you the dogs are just doing their own dog thing and i'm rather surprised the dogs aren't upset by the kids cuz i sure am i feel awful they're so scared of these sweet dogs i can only imagine what they would do if there was danger makes me sad and wonder how they got to be that way. i think of sama living in aleppo under constant bombs and never crying. maybe the imagination is the worst terror. in a real situation of terror the instinct kicks in and a kid knows to be calm and not go insane.
