i was thinkin i might go to the libeary and pay 2 bills on the way, i got 3 books and a movie waitin, but i didn't bring my returns or my bills so i turned the other way almost fatefully. i saw karin d. on the street talkin on her phone and standin in the middle and looking back east and i was turning when i heard her say hey it's a one way street and this red suburban wagon comes huffing down the wrong way and only pausing because karin stood in her way and then she gunned it on down the wrong way. karin d. might well have saved me.
