and that kurzweil seems a sad prophet of the techno prisoner future. though he only sees the bright side of it, not the mass nano-ization of war and surveillance financial exploitation. in that bright future technology will be imbedded in every living thing, like plastic is now. every being will know every thing about every other being.
now what does kurzweil's singularity have to do with nature or the singularity of physics. that's probably beyond my ken, but k's singularity sounds like a sad nightmare to me. who wants to live forever with drones and cyborgs anyway. and what are they going to use for the source of life, when nature is exhausted? kurzweil seems to think everything can be generated by 3d printer out of tainted air. ah, fugitaboutit. they can't even find a cure for tinea. it seemed like k. was sad about his childhood and his absent father who worked himself to death at 51 and also failed to manifest as the artist he was meant to be. kurzweil wants to upload his father for a second chance, and that was the saddest thing, the thing that will never be, not in the past, and not in eternity. plus, kurzweil is not only super sad, he's creepy.
