when two trees together talk i imagine a forest. i imagine two trees imagining a forest. imagine a forest of trees talking. imagine a city that is also a forest. imagine trees as tall as buildings, and buildings as small as young trees, that stay small, protected by tall trees and interlacing canopies. i'm in an imaginary forest now. like the isolated trees we tend to our need to imagine a forest. for the trees.
