desolate isle. when it becomes obombaland it will no longer even be desolate, so we must enjoy the desolation for now. we miss the birds and trees and coyotes and beaver and raccoons and turtles that once were here, and the desolation is memorial to the lost ones, where obombaland will be memorial to the ones that would have come.
