i don't do valentines. i did when i was a kid but i always remember myself as a valentine outcast. anyway every day is a day with heart, unless you are heartless of course. and today is no different, so i gave r. a  heartstone and an old doorknob and chocolate marzipan, and nicholas gave me a cherry blow-pop that says 4ever yours and a peaceable kingdom medallion with an alien kid saying  listen to a story you've already heard, and pretend it's the first time. be kind.  -and i took that straight to my heart.
