happy juneteenth. we're living out a grim history. white supremacy the big lie still reigns supreme in the land of the free. i put down see/saw, a book about photographs. i like to look, but i don't want to look with somebody else's thoughts in my head. i'm back to the second about the 2nd amendment which is still the most powerful tool of white supremacy and the police state since the abolition of slavery. the abolition of white supremacy is still a dream. it's a time to focus on the continuing abolition we may not see in our lifetime. the lie of race has been the shame and destruction of earth. it's a sad holiday, but school is out. no one is free living under the untenable force of white supremacy. we're all the descendants of slavery. it's not a holiday just blowing off fireworks and grilling the beast, like independence day, it's a day to recognize and grieve our grim history in the land of the entitled free.
and to celebrate resilience.
