ay, chimolas. the fall is calendarially here but it's a good time of year and it's not a sudden drop off it's mellow and the lake is smooth and there are crickets and grasshoppers and bees and no flies or hardly none so's you'd notice. it's a good time of earth. the fossil fuel giants are raping the ecuadoran amazon for a deep puddle that will last twenty-five days of human consumption. corporate entities will take and squeeze blood from stone to the last drop and then the final die-off will commence. but it's a good time on earth. we wave goodbye to the species we didn't know and the ones we knew and loved as they died and then we will follow in tears.
