they're going to riprap the shore, which is just rocks, i think, but it could be concrete blocks, which may be better than a giant wall of concrete but will still likely be the end of our swimming at pebble beach. it was already precarious for mister, but i hoped for one more summer at our special place. it'll never be like it was. we may have enjoyed the last of pebble beach. we'll see in a few weeks.
