we saw some horsies idle know if lulu ever saw them before
but i seem to recall
a whole line of horses parked under the train
for popo training exercises
then we saw comet & hilde and mary but
we dint wan encroach so
turned south whereupon
i sed to lu let's go down that creepy sorta alleyway
where the graffiti and the overhanging
branches and the dispossed
containers and the booful weeds grow
lulu kept a lookout for my crazy self
and then we saw coyote peeking
through the dry reeds
below the iron tracks
after she saw us and lulu
so learnestly vigilant hadn't a clue
