good old steve.

here's steve, rescued in chicago, migrated to california. he was out roaming all day with bobcats and bears. later he appeared high up on the peak of the neighbor's roof, crying in distress. rescued by ladder he withdrew to a box in a dark corner and has not moved yet today. he's lived the life of the wandering spirit, adventuring and returning home, a beloved family cat longing for the wild. let's pause now, send him love.

upcat. steve is presently in surgery. he said before going under, i'm a tough cat. he may have tangled with a coyote. whoa, he is a tough cat.  
upcat2. steve is out of surgery, six stitches. doc says he's probably going to pull through. thanks for sending all your loving thoughts to a kindred cat you never met. 
upcat3. steve has a plastic koan now. he was almost eviscerated. his head was coated with saliva. his head was in a coyote's mouth.
