i picked up a white covered dvd with braille dots at the liberry with no idea what it was it was called black hat and it was a regular movie about cyber terrorism, just the case i guess was for the blind, when i returned it i picked up notes on blindness, another dvd i forgot i'd ordered with an inconvenient sequel, which deals with blindness too, on a mass scale, come to think of it. i told carlos and said a theme seems to be running and i think he rolled his eyes, it's hard to tell with carlos. then sara p. said her sight is poor and she thought she saw me standing in the water testing my endurance and closer she saw that it was a boulder. the other sarah, sarah l. said glaucoma is blindness, of a gradual sort, and that would be terrifying. i still have my floater, it's darting around now as i type, i've got used to it and sometimes it vanishes or is forgotten or hides in the periphery which is at the edge but also the edge of consciousness i guess. what we notice. what we focus on. and why. sarah l. said she has trouble focusing on the music and i say maybe you are focused on other things or the music doesn't captivate you, in any case if you want to focus on music maybe just close your eyes and let it wash over you. don't worry about the music or your eyes for a time.
