lulu found a field mouse. it was pretty gross. i was laying back looking at the sky and noticed her lingering over something  interesting. i called her over and she came and i asked her for a kiss but she demurred and went right back. she was playing with it like a toy, or maybe realizing it was a critter thought if she played with it it might come back to life. when i saw that sad slobbered mouse i was glad i didn't get kissed and i tossed it over the metra fence and said i'm sorry to take your mouse lu, but let's go poop.
