whelp, i got all suited up for rain and then got hot and played ball in the fountain. who says whomans ain't adaptable? and now i switched dogs around i got almos an hour to play like dis. now there's a big moving truck in the alley and a crew jackhammering. my head is peripheral to my direction but i keep on keepin on. i got a letter from audubon forwarding a letter by the bird conservation network, so my inference about a brush off was exaggerated. but yet while iterating the case for the birds, everyone seems to resigned to the fact that the park is a fait accompli, and will be stolen by the obomba fundation. dog give us the grace to say fuck it to the powerful operators we can't change. you can't live with em, and you can't kill em.

Jackson Park is designated by National Audubon Society as an Important
Bird Area (a formal designation denoting places that are crucial for
maintaining healthy bird populations). It is one of the two best
remaining fragments of good bird habitat along the city’s lakefront,
especially important as a buffer against the very real hazards of the
city’s buildings. Every spring and fall, hundreds of thousands of birds
migrate through the area, stopping to feed and rest on their perilous
journeys north and south. Hundreds of birders from around the city
and state visit the park every year to observe and enjoy them. Studies
show populations of many species of birds are declining and loss of
appropriate habitat is the single largest cause. Jackson Park provides an
important habitat oasis for migrating birds.
