oh, god. i was just saying to karin yesterday how fortunate i was to have my little affordable studio, and that i deserved it. karin said, don't say that, and i said you are right. it was luck, and it's a hard fucking world. to have luck in such a world is rare. i been dreading the takeover of this whole neighborhood by mac realty and obamaland, and wondering if my days are numbered. i wouldn't be able to afford a place in obamaland or mac world. the people with the power have the power to control where we live and how much we pay, over our very lives.
