they never talk about the banality of goodness, because it's not banal. evil is banal, but people think it's not. you ever notice how many hollywood movies have guns on the cover?
banality is a factory system, all we make is movies with guns and more guns like they got in the movies guns are so fucking cool. the banality of evil could just be called stupid and willing to pay again and again for the same stupid thing.
