is desiderata the plural of desideratum? of course it is, i could have intuited this or looked it up, but i asked my word goose as i wanted to involve her away there dogsitting. thanks, word goose. it's just that i vaguely recall a poem called desiderata and was a bit shy of association. but it's simply about desire, and the subject of desire, which may be one and many. 
and what makes those little clouds on fingernails? is it unshed tears? when i was a tree planter a girl said oh you have such clear moons, and something about how my soul was well mineralized, and now r. says that's hooey, it's a mystery, and unshed tears just as likely. tears of sadness, tears of joy, little clouds precipitating in touch.
