i was looking at aerial pictures of the immigrant camps or detention camps or concentration camps and thinking shit they're huge like the national security compound. this morning i'm looking at the tourist in masks at auschwitz  thinking is that really like it was left or a recreation, the arbeit macht frei sign looks so delicate how could it survive and i think it's for tourists like the settlers villages in america built in the same place but out of the ghost imprints left behind. why do we want to recreate some things and why do we bury others. and sometimes the same things. nuclear waste, they bury it in mountains but also dump it without ceremony straight into the sea. well i was thinking about trump's concentration camps, will they be visited one day by tourists, will there be a sign maga makes free. or will they just be repurposed as prisons or satellites of the genocidal national security surveillance and incarceration state, or will they just be whitewashed pale white ghosts of the neoliberal machine. the sick fuck trump began his tenure as occupier with mein kampf by his kingsize bed and now chants white power to his golf cart and boogaloo assault troops and advertises his intentions with the red triangle nazi concentration camp prisoners badge of shame.
