this was the smoothest reunion of cat and dog i could wish. within minutes penny was yawning. mister was very excited and trailed me doggedly, yet as soon as i put his quilt down by the dining room table he quieted. already the cats are promenading around lightly, not clomping as they are sometimes wont to do, but quite casually.
