two people stopped to ask if he was ok. he had just rolled and was laying still in the sun. we didn't get very far. he's moving slowly, his walk is uneven, his back legs are weak and stiff. when people look at him sadly i try to smile and reassure them he's ok, and he's been lame before, maybe he will be better, but the tincture of time is also the process toward the end. sometimes i hold back tears. later my eyes seep.
my feet and hands are still cracking.
and the power of corporations is both desperate and virtually absolute. the plan is planned obsolesence. the plan is expanding from products to people. the plan will make people obsolescent. dirty power is annihilating life.
but costa rica is going entirely fossil fuel free. there will be an end to dirty power, ultimately. the thing is, when? who will survive? and what kind of planet will this be then.

listen to greta thunberg at the united nations.
