i just noticed i failed to send my email to world beyond war. in the meantime i read that amazon is negotiating a 10 billion dollar contract with the pentagon to get in on the endless war profits. the wholesale/retail business of killing is filthy lucrative, it's big like amazon, it makes all the competition seem puny. i doubt a democracy-crunching democracy like this will ever be beyond war. nothing is beyond the reach of this terrible freedom. this freedom, like amazon, this empire of profit, this burgeoning war machine swallows everything. but we have to talk about it. because, after all, we pay the terrible price. we're free.
