i ask what's her name and he says my name is drew and i'm momentarily befuddled and it seems somehow indiscreet. i say we don't usually ask the human's name, ha. and he says the dog's name and now i remember his name and forget hers. i wonder if he was messing with me, irked that people always ask the dog's name and not his. i think it's be fine with me if my name was the same as mister, or just dog, as some kids call me.
