so it turns out lulu is a paragon of dogs, and i'm still a little embarrassed i had a lack of faith in the beginning. i mean, it was a long time since i had a puppy experience, and a boxer girl to boot. but like i notice often with dogs, there is an aha moment when you and the dog suddenly just know, and everything has changed.
