just think, yesterday r. was planting daffodils and crocus here. i guess the vortex didn't come. today i heard what we got was a polar blunder. the cleaning lady said we might get some lovely weather this winter. i don't know if she's a believer in climate justice or an optimist, or a soothsayer, but i guess it's good not to look at the winter too black and white. i've been on the beach in a t-shirt in january.
