last night i watched ai wei wei's film human flow. the pictures of displaced people wandering from war zones and camped on closed borders is astounding. we are so fortunate here, and our country is causing so much misery. everywhere the u.s. goes there are wars and concentration camps and massive bases and prisons and peace is nowhere we go. 
at the time of the film 2016 sixty-five million people were forced from their homes, in 2018, 68.5 million people are forced from their homes.
