limn is the word of the day. i always liked the word but i recall
using it and somebody saying what does it mean is it even a word or am i
just affected? perhaps i was but not the word limn. it's just a good word
like 11 is a good number. it ain't why, it just is. but since it came to my
box defined i note that i thought it was a poetic word suggesting the
liminal, which is different but surely connected, i'll see, but note that
limn means trace the shape of make a portrait of, outline, depict, draw
or paint, delineate, describe, illuminate, as a manuscript. illuminate,
adding light, to learn. oh what a good word the word of the day is. i
spoke about threshold consciousness, of porosity, exchange in therapy.
now to liminal, let's say the second place word of the day, meaning of,
relating to, or situated at a sensory threshold : barely perceptible or
capable of eliciting a response., meaning relating to a transitional or
initial stage of a process occupying a position at, or on both sides of, a
boundary or threshold. meaning the quality of ambiguity or
disorientation that occurs in the middle stage of a rite of passage,
when participants no longer hold their pre-ritual status but have not
yet begun the transition to the status they will hold when the rite is
complete.
