last night i couldn't sleep. i got up and ate some peanut butter pretzel nubs and read talib kweli vibrate higher and looked at the previous picture of lulu by the unplugged fire plug. i saw a movie about austin texas last night about the developers and the former mayor saying how the capitol building now looks like a fire plug. i thought of developers as monster dogs passing by and peeing on the little dome on the way from their towers to their tract homes in the former farmland. but last night i was thinking the last hip-hop book i read was soul boring always talking about how great it was to get rich spitting raps and buying up the white man's real estate. i get it but it's not uplifting or enlightening. the next hip-hop book does vibrate a little higher but then seems to be getting in the same rut of naming names and faming fame.

anyway, i think i'll go have a nice walk today maybe see what happened at the camp of the man under the tracks the po-po took to hospital yesterday. it's going to be in the seventies.

and to the overwhelmed this from your daily om:

Rather than allowing ourselves to feel overwhelmed and confused by our emotions, we can learn to see them as a form of energy. As with all energy, our emotions need to be processed and released, so they don't continue to build up and cause pressure. Channeling this excess energy into positive pursuits acts as a release valve, so we no longer have to feel pressured.
