speaking of loss. we lose the space around us to development. we think we have a cushion of green space and then the developers show up. just imagine the settlers coming and destroying the place you live and threatening you and stealing the place you live and killing you. imagine if you were native to this place and were forced to leave by migration or death. sorry to spin but this is the local face of the killing empire. i just read last night in the biography of chicago how thousands of native people were killed or forced to leave here where obama now occupies the park. there are algorithms reading us and they will offer something to address our inner lives and wishes but it won't be real.
