i just read that since 2016 when they mandated body cams and vehicle cams for police stops 

...the number of times officers left their vehicles to investigate "something happening" on the street declined by EIGHTY TWO percent. That is, 600,000 stops and pat downs for weapons, drugs, etc, in 2015, became 100,000 in 2016. They simply stopped policing. Without the free hand to treat minority citizens as they chose, our police force declined to do any meaningful policing.
 

i guess even if another cop gets away with murder at least the citizen journalists and the police cams will have some effect on reducing police crime.
