kumar keeps on talking about the nobel prize winners in physics and stuff. he wants to get a word in with them about his website. he says save the midway won't get enough traction without them. have any signed he says. i don't think so. not that i know of. it's academic. they aren't in the park but in the stacks and towers, and will be in obama's tower when it rises. the nobel constituency will float above the park with a penthouse view.

people need this space, that seems so idle, that seems an empty plot of land waiting for a plot to develop. what is is not profitable. it will not serve power. and if people don't care for such a space it will disappear. maybe they won't even know they need this space and will continue needing it when it's gone, not knowing what is lost for good.
