suzanne reminded me i have a bit of cherokee blood and i said i forget it seems so little and distant as time and the culture leach my blood of nutrients but then again that little bit may be what helped me resist, and she points out that the welsh and the jews and the scots did a lot of resisting too, and i thank all the resisters who make the world worth inhabiting, and suzanne for remembering me.
