i got the new paul auster. do i like paul auster? i want a novelist's grapple with the shitty state of the world and i don't think i can find it, but the next book could always be it, though it'll be provisional. i really want my own novelist's grapple, i wanna own it, but i'm a collection of fragments. not a collection exactly. it's just a trail of fragments that pass my hands.
