thank goodness they left the leaves we love on the oak quadrangle. lulu gave a bear hug to a girl hurrying to class who paused to greet. she picked her out of hundreds. the girl felt the magic thank goodness. on the way home lulu passed by the tantillos without a nod or a wink. still when i ask her for a picture she sits but when i say hey lu look at me she stares off into the near distance.
