i lost my little wallet with money and library card. i know it's not a big thing and i'm embarrassed at how i let it affect me. i made anguish of a little loss. no one was hurt. the dogs are fine. mothers are losing sons, kids are losing parents, people are losing their lives. 

it's just life is so precarious now and so full of loss. 

and it's my mother's birthday, and i have to call her and give thanks for being her and making me.
