we have to trust our feelings, can we? we must. can we trust our thinking with our feelings? we have to trust one another, our feelings. we need to think of our feelings and we need to feel each others as we feel our thoughts thinking almost like the ruminations of the fertile swamp. we know our feelings want to bring peace and shelter. we may think of this peace and send an invitation. everybody wants to be home.
but the homeless fellow was back last night at 9 on the front stoop. it's sad, we don't know his story and he can't explain. he can't come in, it's too complicated, he needs a place to stay, who knows where his sister is or if she's ever coming to save him, the police, sad to say, had to come and take him away.
i think of the people on the outside who want to come inside for the winter. i wonder what their story is and why some are inside and warm and some are outside and cold. my friend the other day said she knows some who choose to live outside that way but think in the winter it must be a terrible choice and i see the ones who are trying to get inside someplace.
everyone should have the basic needs of shelter and food in a moral society.
