looking back on the bunny episode i realize i was naive in thinking the dogs would listen to me and not their instinct. i realize i should have just ignored the asshole who called the cops. she was not porous to understanding me or the situation. you can't convey what people are incapable of understanding. regardless of my naivete no bunny nor dog nor human was harmed. and mary says the bunnies are all nestled in the nest again. i thought well even if i hadn't gone to get a photo the dogs already knew the place and would have bee-lined for it. we can't avoid the park in bunny season and we can't stay on leash, so we're just going to have to be vigilant and hope the bunnies get big and find better cover soon. but coyote belongs here too, and has to eat.
