you may go out there today and imagine all the people who lived lives and thought thoughts and died on the built land we occupy. you may feel the effect of theft on the atmosphere without knowing what or when, who or why. you may wonder how the awareness of invisible structures in our built environment affects your daily life. you may consider how we forget what no longer applies, and how forgetting separates us by memory. you may ask yourself what has all this to do with me while you stand gazing at a tree vibrating in restless wind.
