rosie loves copper, but she's afraid too. she got barked at by a different dog. today she hugged him. i was feeling the trauma of the kids in jails who tried to find asylum in america and i knew, well, how do you talk about that with young families here. so lucky. so the chance of stumbling on my halting words and on this photo rendering gave me the opportunity to shift back to the local and present relations that are just as real and need to be observed along with the pictures from the borderland.
