they must have great lawn, even if it's actually a great marsh. there's not much thought or sense in the park district's approach to green space, it's democratic i guess, every green space is treated the same. if it doesn't conform to policy, it's the damn fault of nature it looks ruined and sad and dead. they got a job to do, so fuck nature if it can't take a killing joke.
