i think about hilma af klimt as she's in the art news. the guggenheim show was the biggest attendance of all. the text of notes and methods is inscrutable to me. there's an almost entirely inscrutable dictionary too. maybe it's to do with making you reflect inwardly on confusion. some religions do that. and ululation. speaking in tongues. one word, aroo, is just like my favorite translation of a dog's howl, which is what ululation is. people do it a weddings and funerals, dogs do it whenever they feel the great spirit moving in them. aroo, hilma's dictionary says, means physical happiness. i think the sounds and pictures are the meaning, in hilma and the language of the dogs of god.
