there's a lot we people have reason to forget. we have willful amnesia. but forgetting is more traumatic than remembering. if we keep saying never mind what's done is done and hope and change we end up with endless war for peace with school shooters and armed teachers and the prison industry and towers in the park that look like prisons of the elite. we have a lot to atone for, and memory will not forget. not long.
