dolly gave me another word of the day, ganbaru, a japanese word for doggedness or perseverance through difficult times, or to do one's best, or to stand firm, it's a word of encouragement, it comes from a character "eye-stretch", conveying the feeling of opening your eyes wide, staring at something deeply to focus your mind. thanks dolly, i was getting bogged with control. i always loved etymology. words change with time like everything. and i want to know more japanese words because they have some special words for which english has none.
