rachel corrie would be forty-three now. israel was demolishing homes in rafah in 2003. she was killed by a soldier in a bulldozer. she wrote home the wish that we could see these people, to know what they suffer. the demolition was too slow, israel needed it's 911, israel needed american bombs. i'm trying to imagine what rachel corrie would be writing today.
